Sophomore Tarynn Hoffman-Muff uses Murrow, an AI-powered journalistic writing program, to create an outline for a story. The program thoroughly explains the steps needed for a successful piece and provides positive feedback and encouragement. This is just one example of AI’s top-tier teaching techniques used to build confidence in the student and reinforce their responses.

As AI keeps making its way into different areas of our lives, it's becoming a big deal in education too. Schools worldwide are bringing AI tools into classrooms, changing how students learn and teachers...

The topics of school mask mandates and vaccines has been widely polarizing as schools across the country open up for in-person learning. On Dec. 7, the Ankeny School Board voted to discontinue the mask mandate for the Ankeny Community School District beginning Dec. 8. “It’s everyone's choice; they aren't saying you can’t wear a mask. They’re just saying for the people who don’t want to, then they aren't forced to, which I’m not big into, but I literally got vaccinated for a reason,” junior Sharice Mamuya said.
