Ankeny High School presented Catch Me If You Can, the musical, on April 10th – April 12th. The musical, based on a the Dreamworks motion picture is a crime drama based on a real life story of Frank Abagnale Jr. It follows Frank, a smart teenager who runs from home and begins to forge checks to make money. He uses his charm to impersonate a pilot, a doctor, and a lawyer. Meanwhile, FBI agents continue to chase him, as the pursuit continues the film also shows Frank’s loneliness and desire for family, adding emotional depth to the story.
