Ankeny Hawks track and field presented the 67th Fred Smith relays on April 14th, 2026. Fred Smith was an Iowa track and field coach who led Ankeny to state championships in 1971 and 1972. Every year, Ankeny hosts the “Fred Smith Hawk Relays” in his honor.
