Tobias is a senior at Ankeny High. He is involved in Soccer, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Football, and the Talon. Outside of school and sports, He enjoys spending time outdoors, watching sports, listening to music, and watching movies. After high school, he plans to attend Iowa State University to major in Sports Media and Communications.

In Iowa, boys' swimming is a single-class sport per the Iowa High School Athletic Association (IHSAA), meaning that all 50 swim programs, and more than 1000 athletes compete head to head with classifications. The State Meet is the best of the best with only 32 individuals and 24 relay teams making the final cut.
